Zoology refers to the study of animals, their biodiversity, habitat, animal behaviour and beneficial aspects to the society. It also includes the interaction of animal kingdom in their ecosystems their habits, structure, embryology, distribution, evolution and extinct species. Various disciplines in zoology including comparative zoology, Animal Physiology, Entomology, invertebrates and vertebrates at B.Sc. level.

Vision

Our vision aims at providing a comprehension Bachelor of Science program with zoology as a major subject. Beside preparing the students for their future in zoological sciences and teaching field, we encourage the students to be innovative, helpful and supportive to the society. The mission of zoology department is to impart basic education of animals for undergraduate students and to develop research interest in various field of zoology.
