Department of Sanskrit of Govt. Ranbir College Sangrur was established along with the establishment of this college in 1939.Since then, it has shaped thousands of minds with the knowledge of India and Sanskrit Language. which implies that Sanskrit lies at the roots of Tradition & culture of India.

Mission

1- To introduce the students with Sanskrit Language
2-To increase the Knowledge of Students regarding the Traditions, Custom & convention of India through the language of Sanskrit.
3- To introduce the Students To literary tradition of India through the use of Sanskrit.
4-To introduce the students to various philosophical traditions through use of Sanskrit language
5-To Update the knowledge of students through Sanskrit language by Interacting with modern tendencies prevalent in various spheres of the life.
