NIRF

It is a ranking methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India,  to rank institutions of higher education in India. The framework was approved by the erstwhile Ministry of Human Resource Development and launched by the Minister on 29 September 2015.

The Parameters cover ''Teaching, Learning and Resources, '' Research and professional practices,'' Graduation outcomes, '' Outreach and inclusivity,'' and perception in broad strokes. This ranking gives little weight to research quality and citations, Which are clearly lacking in Indian Universities.

The ranking assists institutions in reflecting, analyzing and improving. It only demonstrates how an institution has been performing, how it has performed in the past and how it compares to its peers in

the same category.

NIRF Ranking helps the candidates to apply to colleges with the highest educational excellence, academic facilities, infrastructure, financial and other support for the students, research, extracurricular, and other laurels to the institution.
