Higher Education Institute Society (HEIS) Govt. Ranbir College Sangrur
About: The primary objective of the HEIS-Government Ranbir College Sangrur is to impart and maintain the standards of education along with Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The society aims at developing the technical workforce in the related areas. The laboratories of HEIS are well equipped with the requisite IT infrastructure, which has been managed by the society's self-financed model since 2007. The HEIS has been leading the region with a strength of approximately 300-400 students. It is committed to providing excellent teaching and learning environment to students by providing them with highly sophisticated infrastructure as well as well-qualified and experienced faculty. The department provides Wi-Fi connectivity. Smart classrooms with projector audio-video further facilitate the teaching-learning process. The department not only imparts quality education in the field of Computer Science, Management studies, and hospitality courses but also grooms students for higher caliber, skills, integrity and future career planning. The HEIS offers B.C.A, B.B.A, B.COM.(TAX PLANNING & MANAGEMENT),B.Sc. (Data Analytics), B.A.(Digital media and Design) as undergraduate courses and two postgraduate courses, M.Sc. IT REGULAR and MSc IT LATERAL, as well as UG Diploma courses like Diploma in Food Production, Diploma in Food and Beverage Service, diploma in Bakery & confectionery, and PG Diploma course P.G.D.C.A with semester system.
